At CPHI, Barcellona, IMA Group and its specialists will introduce IMA Pharma, the All-In-One supplier <\/strong>specialized in the design and manufacture of automatic machines for the processing and packaging of pharmaceutical, biomedical and nutraceutical products.<\/p>\n

In particular you will see INJECTA, a fill-finish machine for Ready-To-Use components\u00a0<\/strong>that won Best in Show Award 2023 at Interphex NY<\/strong>. The machine\u2019s design exploits advanced robotic technologies to assure smooth processing of the tubs and components with minimal operator access to the working area. At the event you will know about INJECTA’s fully integrated module for<\/p>\n

the automatic pick-up and assembly of size parts required to adjust stoppering and filling parameters, according to recent Annex 1 updates. Our experts will also introduce KryoAir<\/strong>, our new\u00a0100% green refrigeration technology for freeze dryers<\/strong>\u00a0using the ultimate natural refrigerant: air<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At this year CPHI there will be a dedicated corner to Continuous Manufacturing<\/strong>; IMA Active\u2019s belief in and knowledge of Continuous Manufacturing have grown stronger thanks to intensive R&D work carried out on two fronts. A more disruptive front of IMA Active R&D consists in the partnership with CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals, a spin out of Novartis-MIT Centre. While on the other R&D front IMA Active works on continuous processes by revisiting current technologies, embracing a concept of Continuous Manufacturing more closely related to conventional solid forms.<\/p>\n

IMA Safe and IMA BFB will be introducing the new frontier of pharma green packaging and applications in terms of recyclable and biodegradable films, sustainable plastic materials and paper – just to name a few \u2013 which represent IMA\u2019s concrete commitment to sustainability. IMA NoP<\/strong> (No-Plastic Program), one of the four pillars of IMA ZERO, will be at the centre of the attention, with promoting eco-friendly plastic substitutes for the packages manufactured on the Group\u2019s machines.<\/p>\n
