In health companies in particular, alongside issues related to the minimization of environmental impact, <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">it is essential to analyze the social and governance impacts: to promote <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">a culture about <strong>ethical and responsible business practices<\/strong>, social responsibility, diversity and inclusion, protection of human rights.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traduzione\" aria-label=\"Testo tradotto\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwjg3s7D262GAxXig_0HHc-TC3cQ3ewLegQIBRAU\">The first session of 63\u00b0 Symposium AFI, entitled &#8220;<em>Experiences of sustainability in the pharmaceutical world<\/em>&#8220;, is dedicated to these topics: in particular, <span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">the meeting will try to analyze <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">which <strong>actions and strategies allow us to move, about sustainability, <\/strong><\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\"><strong>from theory to practice in the pharmaceutical sector<\/strong> and <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">will describe field experiences of green efficiency projects in planning, departments and laboratories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traduzione\" aria-label=\"Testo tradotto\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwjcxPvc5q2GAxUXcvEDHaUBBEwQ3ewLegQIBRAU\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">As it also reminds us, Pierfelice <\/span>Ferrari, Coordinator of the AFI Energy and Sustainability Study Group, during our interview,<span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">\u00a0in order to<strong> implement sustainability<\/strong> in companies it is necessary to adopt some strategies: a shared <strong>corporate culture<\/strong>, investments in <strong>training<\/strong> (involving top management and all levels) and carry out a constant evaluation of activities and objectives, defining a <strong>business plan<\/strong> capable of taking into account all aspects of sustainability (<\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">environmental, social and governance).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It is good to remember that, as Ferrari further underlines, the company does not always have control as implementation involves various actors and the <strong>complexity of the pharmaceutical sector <\/strong>(<span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">as well as its supply chain) <\/span>represents another critical aspect.<\/p>\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\"
