{"id":19779,"date":"2024-05-28T11:04:32","date_gmt":"2024-05-28T11:04:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/makingpharmaindustry.it\/?p=19779"},"modified":"2024-05-29T09:19:40","modified_gmt":"2024-05-29T09:19:40","slug":"63rd-afi-symposium-interview-with-lorenzo-cottini-and-ilaria-maruti","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/makingpharmaindustry.it\/en\/afi-interview\/63rd-afi-symposium-interview-with-lorenzo-cottini-and-ilaria-maruti\/","title":{"rendered":"63rd AFI Symposium \u2013 Interview with Lorenzo Cottini and Ilaria Maruti"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\" aria-label=\"Translated text\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwizqILqjLCGAxXCefEDHRRhBv0Q3ewLegQIDRAU\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The <strong>correlation between innovation and sustainability<\/strong> is an aspect of strong interest as both have become tools capable of impacting the activities and strategies of any organization. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\" aria-label=\"Translated text\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwizqILqjLCGAxXCefEDHRRhBv0Q3ewLegQIDRAU\">In particular, in the field of clinical research, <strong>the introduction of innovative solutions has increased simplification, reduced costs and encouraged patient participation<\/strong>: but the innovation of clinical studies also has a significant impact on sustainability issues, animating the discussion around the the need not to neglect, beyond progress, the <strong>environmental and social impact of innovative solutions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"tw-target-text-container\" class=\"tw-ta-container F0azHf tw-nfl\" tabindex=\"0\">\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\" aria-label=\"Translated text\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwizqILqjLCGAxXCefEDHRRhBv0Q3ewLegQIDRAU\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The fifth session of the 63\u00b0 AFI Symposium, entitled &#8220;<em>The future of clinical research: innovation and sustainability<\/em>&#8220;, is dedicated to analyze these aspects.<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The interventions of this session, in fact, will present concrete <strong>examples of sustainability in the clinical trial field<\/strong>, highlighting the methodological and regulatory changes of recent months and years, encouraging a discussion between professionals for the improvement of clinical trials.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\" aria-label=\"Translated text\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwizqILqjLCGAxXCefEDHRRhBv0Q3ewLegQIDRAU\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Introducing us to the session are Lorenzo Cottini and Ilaria Maruti, who gave us a short video interview.
