From May 27 to 30, 2025 the Hall 2 of Fiera Milano (Rho) will be the beating heart of innovation for the pharmaceutical industry. With selected international buyers international buyers and the participation of the main players in the sector, Pharmintech is confirmed as the benchmark event for those who wants to understand and anticipate the future challenges of Life Science.

The program of scientific events, curated by AFI (Association Pharmaceutical Industry) under the leadership of Dr. Alberto Bartolini, Ceo of CIT Pharma and Head of Area Supply Chain and Innovation Technology AFI, focuses on three key themes to address the most current challenges with conferences that will take place in the opening sessions of the first three mornings:

  • Biotech and pharmaceuticals innovative
  • New technologies and digitization
  • Green pharma and sustainability

The panel that will animate the event arena (Hall 2) is of very prominent, also strong from the partnerships forged by Pharmintech with the most representative associations in the industry, including, in addition to AFI, ADF, ASCCA, Aschimfarma, Assobiotec, Egualia, Farmindustria, Ispe, PDA and Ucima.

At the Tech Space area stage will feature high-profile experts, academics, CEOs, scientific directors, data analysts, journalists and association representatives, with debates and insights on the future of life science.


Three events not to be missed

  • May 27 – The Evolution of Biotech
    Opening Pharmintech 2025: current events and innovation in the pharmaceutical world – the evolution of the biotech drug
    A focus on the manufacturing challenges of biotech drugs and the new frontiers of precision medicine, from cost to control quality, from regulations to biosafety.

  • May 29 – Sustainability in pharmaceutical packaging:
    Pharmaceutical and sustainability: packaging as a driver of change
    The sustainable packaging becomes an engine of change, between circular economy circular economy and regulatory compliance. With focus on the impact of the Green Deal on the pharmaceutical industry.

the May 27 event, “Duties and Strategies: How to Move in the New Global Scenario”, a topic of full topical interest, with the participation of Professor Carlo Altomonte of the Department of Economics at Bocconi University of Milan that will be held at the Tech Space (Hall 2, h.15:45);

the May 28 event, “Creating value with digital twins for batch plant”, on the use of digital twins for value creation within batch plants, a project resulting from years of research presented exclusively for Europe. Speech by Peer Sander, Head of Technical Affairs at INOSIM GmbH, and introduction by Alberto Bartolini. The event will take place at the Tech Space (Hall 2, h. 12 noon).

the May 29 event, “Leader’s Talk: Ideas, Challenges and the Future”, a dialogue between. Fabio Vitale (SkyTG24) and Marco Taisch (PoliMi/MADE) on the challenges of pharmaceutical manufacturing. The event will take place at the Tech Space (Hall 2, h. 12 noon).
